Inspector Dashboard: Company Settings for Appointments

Effective appointment management is vital for your company's success. HomeGauge provides customizable settings to streamline scheduling and communication with clients. This guide will walk you through the process of accessing and configuring these settings.

Access Company Settings for Appointments

  1. Login to your Inspector Dashboard.

  2. From the left-hand menu of blue links, click Appointments > Company Settings.

Configuring Reminder Email Setting

You can set how many days before the appointment you would like to automatically send a reminder email under Days Before Appointment to Send Reminders section

  1. Click on the dropdown for Days Before to Send Reminders

  2. Choose how many days you want to send out the reminders.

    Note: Emails are automatically sent out at 6:15 am ET on the day you select.

  3. Scroll down and click Save Settings

Carbon Copy Appointment Email Reminder Addresses

If you have an administrator or someone in your company you want to cc appointment emails to, you can add their address.

  1. Type in the email you would like to send a carbon copy of appointment emails to.

  2. Scroll down and click Save Settings

Time Zone

Setting your time zone will allow sharing your Appointment Calendar with other calendars like Google to work properly.

  1. Click on the dropdown and select the time zone you are in

  2. Scroll down and click Save Settings

Weekly Hours of Operation

  1. Scroll down to the Weekly Hours of Operation section of the page. For each day, set the Start time and End time for your company's hours of operation.

  2. Scroll down and click the Save Settings button.

Standard Travel Time

You can set up an average travel time between appointments.

  1. Type in your average travel time in minutes

  2. Scroll down and click the Save Settings button

Notes for Appointment Schedulers

If you want to have notes that show up on the Appointment Calendar when booking, they can be added here.

  1. Type out notes or instructions in the text box

  2. Scroll down and click the Save Settings button

Custom Appointment Referral Sources

When scheduling appointments, you can select how the appointment was referred. This can be used in reporting to see how you are generating business.

  1. Type in a Referral

  2. Click Add Referral
