Inspector Dashboard: Change Inspection Address

Accidentally entering the wrong address on your HomeGauge report can be a common mistake, but correcting it is a straightforward process. Whether you've created an appointment-based report or a non-appointment report, we've got you covered. In this guide, we'll walk you through two methods to change the address on your report, ensuring that your documentation is accurate.

Method 1: Appointment-based Reports

If you originally created an appointment for your report using Appointments, follow these steps to edit the address:

If you've previously made an agreement for this report and the address on it is incorrect, you'll need to delete it and create a new one once the address is corrected. If the customer has already signed the agreement, they must sign the replacement agreement

  1. Navigate to Appointments > Calendar on the Inspector Dashboard

  2. Locate the appointment on the calendar

  3. Double-click on the appointment to edit it

  4. Update the address

  5. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes

Or

  1. Navigate to ALL reports on the Inspector Dashboard

  2. Locate the property

  3. Click on the Agreement Status

  4. Click Edit Appointment

  5. Update the address

  6. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes

Method 2: Non-Appointment Reports

If your report was not created as an appointment, follow these steps to edit the address:

  1. Navigate to ALL reports on the Inspector Dashboard

  2. Locate the property

  3. Delete the report from the Inspector Dashboard by clicking Manage > Delete

  4. Open the report writer you used to generate the inspection report

  5. Change the address

  6. Publish or Upload the report
