Cancel Old Credit Card Gateway and Payment Processing Account

Below are cancellation instructions for the different payment providers a HomeGauge inspector might have used before switching to HomeGauge Payments. These accounts cannot be canceled without a user’s signature or verbal consent.

CardConnect

How to Cancel CardConnect Services:

  • Call 1-877-828-0720 and speak with a representative​

How to Cancel Authorize.net Services:

  • Call 1-888-323-4289 and speak with a representative

Total Merchant Services

How to identify if you use Total Merchant Services:

  • Transactions that hit your bank account have an ID # that starts with 8788

  • You access your payment information using the Total Merchant Payment Hub

How to Cancel TMS Services:

  • Call 1-888-848-6825 and speak with a representative

  • TMS will send an email confirmation that the account is closed

How to Cancel Authorize.net Services:

  • Your Authorize.net account will be canceled during your call with the TMS representative

HarborTouch or Shift4

HarborTouch and Shift4 are the same company; you may see either of these names used.

How to Cancel HarborTouch/Shift4 Services:

NOTE: a physical signature is required; they will not accept a digital signature

  • The account will be closed within 2-3 business days

How to Cancel Authorize.net Services:

  • Call 1-888-323-4289 and speak with a representative

  • Authorize.net charges $5.00/month for their gateway service, and HarborTouch is not able to cancel this
