Moving and Copying Comments between Items in the Library
You can now move or copy comments between different item types within the Library for improved flexibility.
A single comment can be copied to multiple items but only moved to one item at a time.
If a comment with identical description text exists in the destination Item, you cannot move or copy the comment.
Moving or copying comments will not appear in new inspections until they are unhidden in the relevant templates.
How to Use:
In the Library, expand a System and click the Comment icon to the right of an Item.
Click Show More under any comment to access additional options.
Use the menu to find the new "Move to Item" and "Copy to Item" features.
Unhiding Comments in Templates:
Moving or copying comments will not appear in new inspections until they are unhidden in the relevant templates. Here is how to show the comments in the template:
Navigate to Templates.
Select your desired template.
Go to the System and Item where you moved or copied the comment.
Click the Comments icon to access comments for this Item.
Scroll to the Hidden Comments section and expand it.
Locate the comment and click Show to include it in the template.
