Web Report Writer Sections(Beta)
The new Sections feature is a major upgrade to Web Report Writer, giving inspectors more flexibility and control over how they organize Items in Templates, Inspections and Report Output. Instead of being limited to predefined Systems, inspectors can now create and define Sections that best fit the way they inspect.
How Sections Works:
Templates
- Add: In the Template editor, go to "Components," click "Add Component," name it, and save.
- Rename, Duplicate, Delete: Use "Edit Component" to rename, copy (with or without Items), or delete (removes all Items permanently).
- Reorder: Drag and drop Components in the Template.
- Add Items: Click "Add Item," search the Library, and select an Item. Reassign anytime.
Inspections
- New UI: The Items page has three tabs: Components, Locations, and All Items.
- Editing: Changes in an Inspection don’t update the Template.
- All Items View: Bulk-edit and sort Items across Components and Locations.
Report Output
- The "Components" print format matches the Inspection layout.
