Search for and View a Customer or REP
- Log into your Dashboard.
- From your HomeGauge software, click HG Services > My HomeGauge Dashboard.
OR
- Visit this link (click here) and enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
- From the menu, click Contacts.
- Click Real Estate Pros or Buyer's / Sellers. Your contacts will be listed here.
- Search by clicking Search My Contacts, fill in the Search box and choose an option from the Search By box, then click Search.
Add a Customer or REP to a Report
Step 1: Create a username to add to the report
- Log into your Dashboard.
- From your HomeGauge software, click HG Services > My HomeGauge Dashboard.

- Visit this link (click here) and enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
- Find the report you would like to add the Customer or Rep to.
- Under the report, click + User.
- Click Step 1: Create a username to add to the report.
- If you already know the Customer or Rep username you can click Step 2: Add the username to this report (this may be listed in your Contacts list on the Dashboard or in the software).
- Enter the Username in the HomeGauge Username box
- Check to set Viewing/Forwarding Permissions
- Click Add Username

- Check the checkboxes to set permissions
- Click Add Username
Remove a Customer or REP from a Report
- Log into your Dashboard.
- From your HomeGauge software, click HG Services > My HomeGauge Dashboard.
OR
- Visit this link (click here) and enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
- Find the report you would like to remove the Customer or REP from.
- Under the report, click - User.
- Check the box next to the user you would like to remove.
- Click Delete.

Edit a Customer's or REP's Info
- If the report has not been uploaded yet, see this article (click here).
- If the report has already been uploaded to the Dashboard with the incorrect information/email address, follow these instructions.
- If you need to change the customer's name, phone number, address, or other information, please submit a support ticket to https://support.homegauge.com/hc/en-us or call Support Mon-Fri 9a.m-5p.m Eastern 828-254-2030 option 1. If you need to change the email, continue.
- Log into your Dashboard.
- From your HomeGauge software, click HG Services > My HomeGauge Dashboard.
OR
- Visit this link (click here) and enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
- Find the report with the incorrect customer information.
- To the right of the customer's name is their HomeGauge user name. Click the user name.
- The email address(es) are listed on the right of the page. Change the email address or add a new one, then click Update Email Addresses.
- On the next page, click the Submit Change button near the bottom of the screen.

NOTE: Once a Customer or REP has logged in with their username and password the Inspector will no longer be able to edit that Account. That account is now locked and private to the Customer or REP. This insures the legality of signed Documents and keeps documents secured. Customers can change their account information as outlined below. Customers and REPs Can Edit Their Own Info:
- They log in at HomeGauge.com.
- On the left side, they click Account Update My Info.
- They then edit the info and click Submit at the bottom to save the changes.
If the Customer or REP gets a message that the email is already in use, it means they have multiple accounts. Have them contact HomeGauge Support at 828-254-2030 option 1 so we can help them merge the accounts.

Remove a Rep or Customer from your Network
- Log into your Dashboard.
- From your HomeGauge software, click HG Services > My HomeGauge Dashboard.
OR
- Visit this link (click here) and enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
- From the menu, click Contacts.
- Click Real Estate Pros or Buyer's / Sellers. Your contacts will be listed here.
- Search by clicking Search My Contacts, fill in the Search box and choose an option from the Search By box, then click Search.
- Once you find the contact, click Remove from Network.
Edit Permissions for Customers and Reps
- Log into your Dashboard.
- From your HomeGauge software, click HG Services > My HomeGauge Dashboard.
OR
- Visit this link (click here) and enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
- Find the report you want to change permissions for.
- Above the report name, click the Viewing tab, then Edit Permissions.
- Check the box in the Viewing column next to each person you would like to be able to see the report.
Tip! Set Permissions Quickly
You can click the All or Clear buttons near the top of the Viewing column to set or clear all of the checkboxes at once. - Check the box in the Forward column next to each person you would like to be able to forward the report to another party.
- Click Set Permissions to complete the task.
Set Default Viewing and Forwarding Permissions
- Log into your Dashboard.
- From your HomeGauge software, click HG Services > My HomeGauge Dashboard.
OR
- Visit this link (click here) and enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
- From the menu on the left, click Account Settings.
- Click Upload/Email Options.
- Check the boxes under Customer and Real Estate Pro to set permissions appropriately.
- Click Save Upload Document Options.
Download Customers and REPs Lists from Dashboard
To download your Online Contacts from the HomeGauge Dashboard, follow the steps bellow:
- From your Dashboard, select Contacts
- Choose either Real Estate Pros or Buyers/Sellers from the sub-menu.
- Once in the desired contacts database, scroll to the bottom of the page and use the Export feature.
- You have the option to choose contact for All Years or a specific year. This will create a .csv file that can be and opened with your MS Excel spreadsheet or Open Office program. (Open Office is a free download if you don't own Excel.)
