To Duplicate Components
Duplicating a component duplicates both the component itself and its inspection items. This is useful for personalizing reports by adding duplicate sections for various elements. Multi-unit homes can duplicate the "units" section. Here's how:
- Follow steps 1-3 in the Edit Component section of this article
- Click the input box after Default Number of Repeats to start with.
- The number you enter will pull that many Repeat Names listed below onto the report to start with. The default is 1, which will not pull any repeats. You can add or edit repeats as needed.
- To create new Repeats, click the + button on the right-hand side of the Section Edit window.
- To edit Repeats, click the Edit Wrench on the right-hand side of the Section Edit window.
- To move the order of Repeats up or down to be selected, use the Up and Down Arrows on the right-hand side of the Section Edit window.
- Click OK
- Click Save T. Note: Since this is a template change, the duplicated components will not be visible on the current report. You will need to start a new report using this template.
