E-mail When Customer Signs Agreement
We now send an email to the customer (home buyer) when they sign their online agreement. The email contains the following information
- Subject: "Agreement Signed and the Address of the Inspection Appointment
- Appointment Details: time and date
- Services Scheduled
- Inspection company contact information
Display a Visual Cue When a Description is Available for a Service
When a customer is using the online appointment request and they are selecting a service it is often useful to have additional information in a description. When a description is available we will display an information icon that can be clicked to display the description.
Additional Information in Real Estate Professional Forward Request
Real estate professionals can request a report be forwarded to an individual through HomeGauge.com using the button. We've added the address to the default template so when the forward is requested you as the inspector will know the address of the property the request refers to.
Bugs and Fixes
Duplicate Agreement Creation/Sign-In Problem
We have identified and fixed a problem where multiple agreements were created on the server for an appointment. This most often led to inspectors being unable to log in to view their dashboard and receiving a message like the following instead.
Special Characters in Service Description Causes Payment Failure
Entering certain "special characters" into service descriptions caused problems when we submitted those service descriptions to our payment gateway. These special characters included `%` among others. We have fixed this problem.
Default Appointment Email Template Typo - "Succesfully"
Several default email templates had the word "Successfully" spelled improperly.
"Call Me Instead" Confirmation Page Shows "null" at "null"
This will now show the text "No appointment date requested".
Cannot See Indemnity Agreement Text When Browser is Smaller Size
When the browser was smaller than a certain size the indemnity text and agreement check box were not displayed.
Commas in Amounts When Creating Invoices Cause 400 Bad Request
We encountered a problem dealing with commas (`,`) in amounts when creating an invoice. We no longer accept the comma in amounts on the Create Invoice page.
Report Viewed Email When Customer Signs Agreement
When a customer signs the inspector's online agreement an email is sent to the inspector with the subject indicating a report was viewed. This is often confusing since the report may not be ready or may not yet be viewable. The subject of this email has been updated to reflect it is the agreement that was viewed, not the report.
