Agreements Created on Dashboard
Agreements can not be edited once they are created. To change agreements you will have to delete the Agreement and create a new document to replace the old Agreement. The steps outlined below are for Agreements that were created on HomeGauge Dashboard through a New Appointment. For more information on Appointments (click here).
- Find your Agreement on HomeGauge Dashboard by searching My Reports > All Reports or find your Appointment on the Calendar and double click Appointment to edit.
- Above the Agreement click Manage > Delete
- Check off which documents you would like to delete and click Yes
Note: If the Appointment no longer has documents listed then it will no longer show up under My Reports > All Reports. You can still find the Appointment by going to your Calendar and double clicking the appointment.
- Find your Appointment by going to Appointments > Calendar and double clicking the Appointment to open.
- With the Appointment open, scroll down to Agreements and move an Agreement from Available to Selected.
- For information on how to update the Customer account name or email (click here).
- For information on how to update your invoice (click here).
- Then click Schedule Appointment, saving changes will not prompt you to create agreement.
- On the Agreement confirmation page you have the ability to make changes directly to the Agreement. Type directly into the text editor and when down click Create Agreement Document(s)
- After Creating the Agreement Document. Choose who you would like to send Notifications to. If you do not want to send a Notification choose Continue Without Sending Notifications.
- The new Agreement Document and Appointment will now Show up on My Reports > All Reports. The example below has not been sent but the Customer is allowed to View if they sign in with a username and password sent to them from you on a previous Notification.
Agreements Created from HomeGauge Software
To change Agreements you will have to delete the Agreement from the Dashboard and create a new document to replace the old Agreement. The steps outlined below are for Agreements that were created and uploaded from HomeGauge Software to the HomeGauge Dashboard.
- Follow steps 1-4 above for Agreements Created on Dashboard to find and delete the old Agreement.
- Once the Agreement is deleted return to your Software.
- Find and Open the Report or Appointment that needs a new Agreement. For how to Open a Report (click here). For how to Download an Appointment (click here).
- Update the Invoice, or Customer as needed inside of the Software. For How to Update a Customer Inside of HomeGauge (click here). For How to Update Invoice Inside of HomeGauge (click here).
- After making changes to that Report click Upload on the Top Tool Bar. For how to Upload a Report (click here).
- The new Agreement Document and Appointment will now Show up on My Reports > All Reports. The example below has not been sent but the Customer is allowed to View if they sign in with a username and password sent to them from you on a previous Notification.
