Time Release Messaging is a way to send time managed marketing and follow-up emails to your customers and real estate agents. To manage and customize your TRM messages follow the steps below:
Getting Started with TRM
TRM can be found by clicking My Reports > TRM on the HomeGauge Dashboard.
- Manage your Templates - Click this button to add or edit TRM templates
- Search Your Events - Search all events by address, person or TRM template
- Scheduled Events - This area will list all future events that are currently scheduled to go out
Adding Templates
Click the Manage Your Templates button to add or edit a TRM template.
- My TRM Templates - This section shows your created templates. These are templates that are ready to be scheduled.
- Start with a blank template - Click this to create a template from scratch.
- Premade templates - Click one of these premade templates to use or customize.
Editing Templates
To edit a template, click either the Edit link next to currently added templates or the title of a pre-made template.
- Template label - This is the title of the TRM. This is only viewable by you.
- Send this message - Set exactly when you want the TRM to go out. You can select a number of days, weeks or months the message will go out.
- Subject - This is the subject of the email that will get sent and will be viewable by the customer.
- Email Text - This is a full featured text editor where you can edit the body of the message. The TRM can handle replacement fields (shown here by ${RECIP_FNAME}) that will bring in content dynamically. Scroll down below the email text box to see a full list of replacement fields.
Scheduling a TRM
Setting up a TRM template does not automatically schedule a TRM for release. After each report uploaded you should schedule a TRM.
TRMs can be scheduled right from the All Reports section of your Dashboard.
- Locate an uploaded report and click Manage TRM inside the report folder.
- Choose a TRM message to send and click Schedule. This box will inform you which customer will receive the message and when it will get sent out.
- You will now see that the email has been scheduled and when it will be sent to your customer.
- If you wanted to stop a TRM from being sent out, simply click Delete Event before the scheduled date and an email will not be sent out.
