Your contacts can be managed from the HomeGauge Dashboard under the Contacts menu item.
Contacts found here are referred to being "in your network".
The following will instruct you on how to add, edit and remove contacts on the HomeGauge Dashboard.
Adding Contacts
A contact will be added to your network when you add them to an appointment. As soon as you create a a new customer or REP in the New Appointment screen, they can be found in your contact network after you finalize the appointment.

At this time there is no way to bulk import a list of contacts into your dashboard contacts.
Editing Contacts
In order to edit a contact:
- Log into your HomeGauge Dashboard from https://www.homegauge.com/login.html.
- From your navigation bar, click Contacts > Real Estate Pros or Buyers/Sellers.
- Scroll through your list, or use the search tool to find the contact you wish to edit.
- Click on the button View User's Info.
- Once inside their profile you can edit the info that is allowed to be edited.
- To edit their name or other contact info, click Edit Customer Info. Edit the desired info and then click Submit.
Note: This link is only shown if the person in question has not logged into their account yet. If they have, you will see a Submit Request button instead which will send an email requesting the individual update their info. - To edit an email address, re-type the email address or add as second one and then click Update Email Addresses and then Submit Change.
Regarding the editing of a contact:
You can edit or add an email to a contact provided that the email you are adding is not already associated with another HomeGauge user account. If you add or change an email and see the warning "Email is already in use" then this email is already associated with a user account. Instead of editing the email, you can use the email address to add the existing user account to an appointment or report. Click here for more info.
Names can only be edited by an inspector if the person has not logged into their account. Once the individual logs in, the account and its information becomes the property of that person. This protects the integrity of the electronic signature for agreements, as well as the privacy of the account holder's data.
If information needs to be updated and you are unable to update it, contact the individual and request that they edit their account info or contact HomeGauge support for assistance. Click here and here for more info.
Deleting Contacts
In order to delete a contact:
- Log into to your HomeGauge Dashboard from https://www.homegauge.com/login.html.
- From your navigation bar, click Contacts > Real Estate Pros or Buyers/Sellers.
- Scroll through your list, or use the search tool to find the contact you wish to edit.
- Click on the button Remove From Network.
- Click Confirm Removal.
- The contact will be removed from your network.
There is a known issue where users added with the + User button do not get added to your network. You may see the following when clicking on a user associated with a report:
For you to view a user's info, they must be in your network. Either add this user to an appointment or attach them to a report and upload it to your Dashboard.
