Starting a report from an appointment is the easiest way to keep everything organized. It saves you time by automatically filling in key details like the customer's name and property address—and connects your report to the agreement and invoice you already created.
Let’s walk through how to do it.
Why Start from an Appointment?
When you use the Appointments tool, you can:
- Enter all the details for your inspection in one place
- Create an agreement and invoice that are tied to the report
- Automatically sync info to the Web Report Writer
- Save time—no need to retype names, addresses, or other info
Create a Report
- Go to your Calendar:
From the Inspector Dashboard, click Appointments > Calendar.

- Click the ➕ Icon
On the right-hand side, click the + (plus) icon to create a new Web Inspection Report. - Web Report Writer opens in a new tab

Choose a Template (if prompted)
If you have multiple templates, a new tab will open asking you to choose one. Select your template and click Continue.
Sync Mobile App
Once the report is created, you can work on it from the Web Writer Mobile App.
- Open the Mobile App
- Tab Refresh Data
- Tap the Report to Start Working
