If you have HomeGauge build your website or web page, one crucial step is to point your nameservers to us so we can host your site. This ensures your website will be linked to your domain name and allows us to manage your Domain Name System (DNS).

You'll need to follow the detailed instructions for your domain registrar to point your nameservers. If you do not see your registrar listed below, please get in touch with our Web Team at 828-254-2030 option 2 or via email at webteam@homegauge.com.

GoDaddy

1. Sign in to your GoDaddy Domain Control Center (click here)
2. Select your domain to access the Domain Settings page 
3. Select Manage DNS to access your zone file
4. Select Change in the Nameservers section
5. Choose Enter my own nameservers (advanced)
6. Enter these nameservers: 

• • • • dns1.stabletransit.com

• • • • dns2.stabletransit.com

7. Select Save or Connect

8. Check the box next to Yes, I consent to update Nameservers for the selected domain

Google Domains

1. On your computer, sign in to your Google Domains account by visiting Google Domains Registrar
2. Click your domain name
3. At the top left, click Menu then DNS. 
4. At the top of the page, click Custom Name Servers
• Your default setting has “(Active)” next to it
5. In the “Name Servers” field(s), enter:

      • dns2.stabletransit.com
        
        If you can't find the field(s), at the upper right corner, click Manage Name Servers.

6. Click Save

7. If you haven't added custom name servers before, click Switch to these settings

Network Solutions

1. Log in to your Network Solutions account (click here)
2. In the My Products & Services tab under the My Domain Names section, click Edit DNS.
3. On the next page, in the grey box on the right side, click Domain Name Server (DNS).
4. Enter the following name servers in the space provided
• dns1.stabletransit.com 
• dns2.stabletransit.com
5. Click Continue when finished making changes.
6. Click Apply Changes on the next screen to finalize your new name servers.

1. Log in to your account (click here)
2. Select Domains at the top of the website, then choose My domains from the dropdown
3. Click the domain name text, not the checkbox next to it
4. Select DNS server settings, or choose DNS server settings from the Manage domain dropdown
5. In DNS Server Settings, choose Custom
6. Enter these nameservers:
• dns1.stabletransit.com 
• dns2.stabletransit.com
7. Click Save

Hostgator

1. Log in to your Customer Portal (click here)
2. On the Dashboard, click Domains from the left-side menu
3. In the Manage Domains section, you will see all the domains in your account. Click your domain name
4. Under Name Servers, click the Change link to update your name servers.
5. From here, you will need to select Manually set my name servers.
6. Enter these nameservers:
1. dns1.stabletransit.com 
2. Dns2.stabletransit.com

• • • • • • Once you have entered your name servers, click Save Name Servers
