Creating an Inspection in the Web Writer Mobile Apps

HomeGauge Web Report Writer Mobile for iOS and Android now supports the capability to create a report directly from the app:

Creating an inspection in the mobile applications follows the same steps as creating in the web application, although some visual changes will be present.

Additionally, you can create your reports in the mobile app when you are offline:

Inspections created in the mobile application will appear in the Web application after a successful synch has been performed in the mobile application

Note: inspections created in app will need to be manually moved to the report folder when published to the dashboard.

How do I get the update?

• These changes have been rolled out automatically to our web client so connecting via any browser will get you access.

• iOS and Android app users will see the changes in a future update.

An issue is resolved that prevented Address Line 2 from being removed from an inspection.

Separate Views for Recording Offline Payments vs Taking Online Payments

To better support inspector workflows, as well as to lay the ground for upcoming HomeGauge Payments features, the Credit Card Payment form and the Record Offline Payment Form have been split into separate pages:

The functionality of both features is unchanged.

Sort by Payment Status

The Payment Status table can now be sorted by each column header, enabling you to easier sort and find your inspections.

Hide Inactive Inspectors

Company owners and managers can now hide inactive inspectors from the User drop down on All Reports.

Bugs Resolved

A bug that prevented Canadian Inspectors from purchasing BuildFax reports has been resolved.
