Delete All Pictures:
-
The "Delete All" menu item is now enabled after adding a picture or video.
-
Selecting the "Delete All" menu item will remove all pictures and videos from the selection.
-
The context menu when clicking on a video has been adjusted to enable the "Edit Video" option. Previously, it was always disabled, requiring the use of "Edit All" to edit/view videos.
Picture Tab:
-
We made an update to the Picture tab's right-click context menu, addressing certain enable/disable issues and improving overall functionality. Previously, the first two menu items in the context menu were erroneously enabled for videos, despite not supporting video backup to the photo locker. With this update, the first Save menu will no longer be enabled for videos, ensuring consistency and preventing unintended actions.
-
Additionally, the selection menu items, namely "Save Selected," "Remove Selected," and "Clear Selection," will now correctly enable/disable based on the presence of a selection (indicated by a red outline around an item). Previously, the Save and Clear items were enabled even when no selection was made, leading to confusion. This improvement streamlines the selection process and enhances user experience.
-
To illustrate the changes, when right-clicking on a video without any selections, the Save This Photo, Save Selected, and Clear Selection menus will no longer be enabled as intended. Furthermore, when using the Save Selected or Remove Selected menus, all red selection outlines in the user interface (UI) will be cleared. While there may be instances where the red selection box is not cleared in the UI due to specific scenarios (e.g., attempting to save an already saved item, restoring an unsaved item, or saving/restoring a video), the selection state will be internally cleared. This ensures that future menu choices align with the intended actions. We have resolved this issue by clearing all UI selection boxes for all items after invoking these two menus.
Updates to Editor Buttons:
- A new "Back" button has been added to the various media editors to help with navigation when editing all media items. This button is similar to the existing "Next" button, but will navigate to the previous item instead.
-
When performing a single edit of each item, the buttons will now display "OK" and "Cancel" (with "Back" and "Remove" hidden). However, during editing all items, the buttons will show "Back," "Next" (replacing "OK"), "Stop" (replacing "Cancel"), and "Remove." During the editing process, any Place Holders will be skipped by both the Back and Next buttons, streamlining the navigation experience.
-
To improve usability, the Back button will be disabled on the first editable item in the sequence. For instance, if a placeholder is followed by a photo, the placeholder will not be displayed, and the Back button will be disabled for the photo since going back to the placeholder is not possible. The Back button will also save any editing changes made to the current item, just like the Next button.
-
Additionally, we have addressed a bug where overlays would disappear when editing 360 photos or videos. Now, overlays will remain visible during editing, providing a consistent and uninterrupted experience. One exception to note is that when an item is removed from the editing screen, the current photo will be replaced by the first item in the sequence, even if it is a placeholder.
