    Hey Kevin!

Thanks for reaching out. I did want to check, does this still happen if the camera remains still a second or two after you press the capture button?

It may be due to the camera still focusing while the picture is being taken, which can take a short amount of time after that button is pressed. Either way, I'm going to do some testing and add it to our pre-existing ticket for iOS camera improvements.

    Hi Anthony,

We are going to be working on our next batch of iOS fixes, and we are going to make sure that this is looked at by our iOS devs to get it resolved. As of right now, we don't have a work around for this other than waiting a second or two after you click the take picture button to move the device.

Apple doesn't allow for the use of 3rd party camera apps within other apps. Essentially you can have 3rd party camera apps on your phone, but you are unable to select those cameras to be the system default, as with previous versions of Android devices. It's also worth mentioning, as of Android 11, Android now has the same restrictions on their camera apps. We are working on an overhaul of the integrated camera in the Android app currently, so something similar for iOS could potentially be the solution for the problem you are having.
