CRL
I just had a client call me about the CRL, which works well for prospective buyers as it states that an inspection finding can have a request for a repair or credit. For clients selling their homes, which is the largest portion of my market now, it would be nice for them to be able to have the list be for items that the sellers have repaired. They can then accompany the CRL with the report. It would also be good if the client could include a photo of the repair in the CRL.
This tool is great for buyers and 10 years ago, most of my clients were potential buyers. The culture has changed after our Northern California fires and more influental, COVID. I'm am now mostly doing listing inspections for properties going on the market. The CRL no longer is beneficial to my largest market which is growing. Listing inspections are great as I can then sometimes revisit the property for the potential buyers that want me to revisit the property with them to go over the report for them. (for an additional fee.)
Listing is where it's at now and it's growing in that direction. I'd like feedback on how the CRL could be adapted to also work for sellers.
