Workflow Enhancements
Creating an Inspection from your Calendar
You have probably noticed that we are rolling out the inspection creation process in stages. First, you could only create from Web Writer, then you could create from an appointment, now that inspection will be linked back to the appointment to ensure the inspection ends up in the folder with agreements and other important details without any additional work from you. Next, we are working at telling you that the inspection was successfully created from the appointment rather than just making you guess. Cleary, we saved the most important step for last, right?
Managing “Not Applicable” Items
Streamline your inspection by using the new N/A filter! The “Hide N/A” & “Show N/A” toggle in top corner of the system view will hide any item that doesn’t apply to your current inspection. This will allow you to focus on the items that need to be answered next. Marking all items in a section as N/A will remove the entire section from your view when the filter is set to “Hide N/A”.
Marking all items in a system as N/A will now remove the system from the print preview and the published report.
Editing Photos
We realized that we added an extra click to your workflow when we first introduced Crop & Rotate. We corrected that issue by putting Crop & Rotate and Annotate together on the same screen.
You may notice that “Reset Changes” is now in the top right with a new icon, so it no longer feels like a back button.
Once you are done with your edits, hit “Save” to return and cycle through to the next image.
Reviewing the Report
The table of contents now has its own scroll bar to ensure your customers don’t miss out on important information that could be missed on smaller browser windows.
