What’s new?

This release allows you to customize your Default Inspection Template by:

• reordering the Systems & Locations* to match the order you complete your inspection,

• updating an item’s location so you can populate the Locations tab, and

• setting the default item statuses to save you time during your inspection.

*Location order not reflected in mobile app inspections at this time.

How do Templates work?

In addition to your existing Library, you now have a Templates option.

Your Library is the catalog of ALL the item types and their associated Comments, Descriptions, and Disclaimers. Comments, Descriptions, and Disclaimers for each item type can be customized from your library.

Templates allow you to customize the default view in the inspection. You can add new Items, edit Item names, and delete unwanted Items. You may decide to hide Comments, Descriptions, and Disclaimers that don’t apply to the current template. Deleted Items will remain in the Library but can be added back during an inspection as needed.

Note: Changes made to your template will only affect inspections created after the change is saved. You cannot change your template from changes made to an inspection.

Where are we heading?

The Templates option will expand to become a Templates library. We are starting everyone up with a single, default template but we plan to allow you to maintain multiple templates in the future.

How do I get the update?

• These changes have been rolled out automatically to our web client so connecting via any browser will get you access.

• iOS and Android app users will see the changes in a future update.
