Release Notes 9/14/2022 - Web Writer Browser
Inspection Report Updates (Standard Print Format)
License Number on Cover
Web Writer reports now include a License No. field on the inspection cover page.
TO REVIEW YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Navigate to Profile > Qualifications & Description > Qualifications from your Inspector Dashboard
-
Review the Qualifications text field to ensure that your license is displayed properly.
-
Empty the field if you do not want the license field displayed on your cover.
BENEFIT OF THIS UPDATE
Several states either already require the license to be shown on the cover page or they are starting to require it. Inspectors were already taking advantage of the Qualifications section to include their license on the HomeGauge profile page, so we chose to use that field for dual purpose. We thought it best to apply this new feature to all inspectors by default, but we are reviewing adding it to a "Templates Settings" option that is on our roadmap.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This field will not be added to previously published reports. It only applies to the Standard print format. The Texas print format has not been altered as it already utilizing the qualification field to populate a license.
Add Hyperlinks to Comments and Disclaimers
Published reports now support hyperlinks in both comments and disclaimers. Any text with a link format such as https://www.homegauge.com/ will now render as a clickable link. When your clients click a link in your report, it will open in a new tab so that they do not lose their place in the report.
This change will be applied to the Texas print format in a future update.
Executive Summary renamed to Summary
To be more versatile in our language, we've renamed the Executive Summary section of the report to Summary. This change will appear in published reports in both HTML and PDF format as well as the Table of Contents.
Severity Icons added to Summary
To help keep reports visually consistent, status icons associated to concerns will now display in the Summary section of published reports in both HTML and PDF format.
Bugs Resolved
