Adding Your Company Profile Contact Information

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Profile Contact Info

From here you can edit the information that will appear on your Company Profile Page.

This information will be shown on your public profile, including a link to your website. The final field on this screen is for your website's address - be sure to fill it in for maximum traffic to your site.

Adding Your Company Logo

Your logo is used in various places, including the search results page, company profile, and your online report header.

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Company Logo
  3. Click Choose File (Note: This logo must be JPG or GIF format and less than 2mb in size.)
  4. Navigate to your logo on your hard drive.
  5. Once chosen, click Save Changes.
  6. You will be prompted to crop the image. Click and drag to create a box around your logo. You can click and drag the edges to resize the selection.
  7. Click Save Changes again to complete the process.

Adding an Inspector Photo

This image will be used in the Company Profile page.

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Inspector Logo
  3. Click Choose File (Note: This logo must be JPG or GIF format and less than 2mb in size.)
  4. Navigate to your logo on your hard drive.
  5. Once chosen, click Save Changes.
  6. You will be prompted to crop the image. Click and drag to create a box around your logo. You can click and drag the edges to resize the selection.
  7. Click Save Changes again to complete the process.

Adding an Organization Logo

This image will be used in the Company Profile page. It is a good place for an organization logo, or anything else.

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Additional Picture
  3. Click Choose File (Note: This logo must be JPG or GIF format and less than 2mb in size.)
  4. Navigate to your logo on your hard drive.
  5. Once chosen, click Save Changes.
  6. You will be prompted to crop the image. Click and drag to create a box around your logo. You can click and drag the edges to resize the selection.
  7. Click Save Changes again to complete the process.

Adding or Changing Your Listing Text

This information will be displayed on the Company Profile Page.

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Listing Text
  3. Here you can put your own text which will appear on your Company Profile Page.
  4. Click Save Changes when done.

Note: If you do not put anything here, a generic listing text will be inserted so that your profile isn't blank.

Adding or Changing Your Qualifications and Description

List state license, memberships, certifications, training, contractor license or special training, and give a short description of yourself that will entice people to give you a call. This is displayed on the search results page.

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Qualifications & Description
  3. Here you can put your own text which will appear on your Company Profile Page and in search results.
  4. Click Save Changes when done.

Note: If you do not put anything here, a generic listing text will be inserted so that your profile isn't blank. 

Adding Social Network Links to Your Profile

To add links to your social network accounts, follow the steps below.

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Social Networks
  3. Add your social network accounts on this page, following the instructions for each.
  4. Click Save Changes when you're done.

Adding or Updating Your Searchable Counties

The county listing is part of the home inspector search engine provided by HomeGauge. When a customer or real estate professional searches for inspectors within a certain county from a state, all inspectors signed up for coverage in that specific county are listed. By default each inspector is set to cover the county associated with the zipcode listed in their contact information. There is no limit to the number of counties you may list as having coverage, but each county must be added or removed using this tool. The counties are organized by state and are selected by checkboxes in the next step.

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Profile
  2. Click Update Searchable Counties
  3. Choose a state from the drop down menu and click Add County Coverage.
  4. Check the boxes of the counties you'd like to add.
  5. Click Finish.

To edit an existing state's county list:

  1. Next to the State listed, click Update Coverage For...
  2. To remove all coverage for that state, click Remove All Coverage For...

Changing Your User Name

Once logged in to your HomeGauge Dashboard, you should see a menu bar on the left side of the screen (on small screens you may need to click the menu button on the top right of the screen for it to appear.)

  1. Click Account Settings
  2. Click Account Contact Info
  3. You'll see User Name - Edit your user name here.
  4. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
