  2. Click the orange plus Add T button from the toolbar near the top of the screen.
  3. Enter the name for the new inspection item. Optional: check the Exclude By Default box if you want this item to be excluded in future reports.
  4. Click OK. The inspection item will appear below the other inspection items.
  5. Use the Up T and Down T buttons in the toolbar to adjust the position of the new inspection item. Items will renumber themselves automatically.
  6. Save the template by clicking Save T in the toolbar or clicking File > Save Template.

Copy and Paste Has Multiple Uses

Copying and pasting inspection items is a great way to put a copy in a new location. But it has other effects too:
  • Copy/pasted inspection items keep all their associated auto-comments. Use this to your advantage instead of adding new inspection items with the same name.
  • Use the copy/paste feature to add a new inspection item to a Component that has all the auto-comments of a different inspection item.
    1. Copy and paste the inspection item using the instructions above.
    2. Edit the inspection item to rename it. After it's renamed, it'll have the auto-comments from the item you originally copied.

Change Position of Inspection Item in List

  1. Navigate to the inspection item you want to edit. Click to highlight it.
  2. Use the Up T and Down T buttons in the toolbar to adjust the position of the new inspection item. Items will renumber themselves automatically.
  3. Save the template by clicking Save T in the toolbar or clicking File > Save Template.
