License Activation

If you receive a message in your HomeGauge Software telling you that your trial is about to expire or has expired but you have purchased a license or subscription, it may be that your HG software needs to be activated for the first time, or activated again if something has changed such switching to a new computer.

  1. In the HG Software, click Options -> Inspector & License.
  2. You should see your license key under "Purchase or Subscription License" in the window. Click ACTIVATE and it should say "Please restart HomeGauge for limitations to be removed".
  3. Restart HomeGauge, open your report, click Upload again to verify your license has been activated.

If you have any issues activating the license, you can always verify how the license should be activated here. Make sure that your name and company name match this information exactly for the activation to succeed.
