As a home inspector, your reputation is paramount to attracting new clients and growing your business. In the digital age, online reviews are crucial in shaping potential customer's perceptions of your services. This article will guide you through enabling, disabling, removing, and displaying ratings on your website.
Enabling and Disabling Ratings
Start by logging into your Dashboard
On the left side, click Contacts > Ratings
Click Turn Your Rating On to enable or to disable click Turn Your Ratings Off
Display Ratings on your Website
On the right side is an example of the Rating Widget
You must copy and paste the chunk of HTML code into your website, typically in a "source view" of your website editor. This will display a rating widget that visitors to your site can click to view your recent HomeGauge ratings.
Remove Ratings
Start by logging into your Dashboard
From the menu, click Contacts > Ratings
Below is listed customer reviews. You can search for the rating and review you want to exclude and click Exclude Rating. This rating will no longer appear on your Profile or anywhere Ratings are shown publicly
Note: HomeGauge ratings are not transferable to other ratings sites like Yelp or Google.
