Browser Troubleshooting Tips
Clear Cache & Cookies
When you use a web browser like Google Chrome, it will save some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them can correct specific problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites. See the support site links below for the respective instructions for each browser.
Update Your Browser
Make sure you have the latest version of your browser installed. Out of date versions may have issues with compatibility.
Go to your web browser's settings and check for updates, or click one of the links located HERE to download the most recent version of the respective browser.
Try Incognito/Private Mode
Open a new Incognito or Private Browsing window depending on what your browser of choice calls the feature. These modes disable extensions and use the default browser settings.
Keyboard shortcuts are available to open a new Incognito/private window:
On Windows, press CTRL + SHIFT + n.
Mac: Press β + Shift + n.
Disable Extensions
Browser extensions can sometimes cause compatibility issues with specific websites. Try disabling browser extensions to see if that is the cause of the issue.
Browser extensions are managed in your browser's settings.
Check your Internet Connection
Make sure that your internet connection is stable. Try other websites to make sure that it is not a connectivity issue.
Try a Different Browser
Try accessing the website using a different web browser. This will help determine if the issue is browser specific.
Check Antivirus
Your antivirus or firewall could be blocking certain elements on websites. Try temporarily disabling them to check if they are the cause.

FAQs
Why are some browsers not supported?
Some browsers are no longer supported by their creators. Older versions of browsers might lack essential security updates. Legacy browsers like IE no longer get important security and feature updates. To keep HomeGauge faster, safer, and more secure, we are prompting users on legacy browsers to update.
